Why did you start your business?
It all began when I was caring for my child, who suffers from mental illness. The lack of resources and support left me feeling helpless, frustrated, and often in a dark place. However, I found that lighting the perfect scented candle helped ease my stress and anxiety.
I wanted to create a business that not only brought others that same peace and comfort but also shone a light on mental health and self-care. Every candle we create is mindfully crafted to promote self-care, self-love, and overall mental well-being.
As someone who has a loved one struggling with mental illness, I understand how overwhelming it can be to find good professional help. That frustration and lack of resources led me to start Out of Darkness Candle Co., a business that not only provides comfort to those struggling but also raises awareness about mental health.Our candles are designed to bring warmth, love, and comfort to your home and your mind. We hope that every candle we create makes an impact in people's lives while also providing an income for our business.

Through this journey, my brand has evolved into more than a mere provider of products; it has become a platform for shared experiences, challenges, and triumphs. It's 5 years from now and you're sitting at the top in your penthouse, what's the one thing you would share with yourself today?
I'd convey to myself today the paramount importance of unwavering authenticity. The pinnacle we've reached is not solely defined by financial success or market dominance, but rather by the genuine connections we've forged and the authentic stories we've shared.
The commitment to all-natural products, sustainability, and mental health advocacy has been the guiding light, but it's the sincere narratives, both mine and those within our community, that have truly set us apart.
